Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a 3K program in Harlem where we service children in a title 1 school. They are some of our youngest learners and we want for them to learn through being exposed to targeted social emotional books. We'd like to have learning community where we have book talks teaching social emotional skills while we have a snack and learn.

With these new social emotional story books, our students will be able to learn from a variety of books that will allow them to experience examples of appropriate behaviors with each other, and the world around them through engaging stories and familiar characters.

We know the importance of reading to children early on, and we would love to be able to grow their love of learning and reading with these stories and characters.
