Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students attend an inner-city urban school. They are all in the free lunch program, and also look forward to our free breakfast in the classroom. They are all learning English as a new language, and many struggle with meeting their grade level standards. Many parents lack the resources to help them at home, so our students rely heavily on all the materials and resources our school and teachers provide them. Many students do not have any crayons, pencils, scissors, or glue at home. Children's books are non-existent at home. Despite these struggles, my students are so eager to learn. They come to school feeling safe and excited to learn. They look up to their teachers and look forward to coming everyday,

A picture is worth a thousand words!

Please help me show off and share the wonderful experiences had in the classroom.

The photo printer and photo paper will be absolutely invaluable. It will be quick and instant. Students can immediately share significant milestones with parents, such as first days of school, birthdays, holidays, 100th day of school, etc. These moments can also be shared at school, on bulletin boards and throughout the classroom.
