My Students

How many times since graduation have you looked back at your yearbook? Did the pictures bring back memories from a time in your life you may have forgotten? This is why my students need your help. They need the opportunity to document their memories with new cameras so they can look back and remember.

My eighth grade graduating students are ready to get started on the creation of their yearbook.

They are eager, enthusiastic and have amazingly creative ideas. There are so many daily activities that they would love to document but cannot because they do not have the proper equipment. It is very difficult for my students to take pictures because they do not have cameras. All of the pages of the yearbook are created online so the pictures need to be able to be uploaded to the site so layouts can be created. I would love to be able to give them these cameras to document their eighth grade experience this year and ensure their memories are captured forever! This wonderful bunch of students deserve to be able to create the best yearbook they possibly can!

My Project

With the two cameras, my yearbook staff will be able to take photos at all the major school events. They will also be able to document all the activities the school has and create a wonderful yearbook for their peers. They will learn how to take pictures, zooming in and out, and then how to upload these photos to the yearbook site. Then they will learn how to create layouts and theme pages to put their photos in. The students will work together to take the pictures and make a yearbook full of memories and smiles for their peers.

"The best thing about pictures is that they never change, even when the people in them do." The cameras, cases and memory cards we are requesting will definitely change my students lives for the better.

By having these, they will be able to take pictures of all the different activities in school and save them to put into their yearbook. They will be able to create a book with amazing photos and wonderful memories that they can look back upon and smile. Being able to have these cameras will help us so much!
