My Project

My Pre-K students are absolute stars. They are kind and unique, smart and funny, and joys to be around. My classroom consist of General Education and Special Education students. They live in a low income neighborhood and many of them have not experienced advanced technology.

Technology is very important for Pre-K students, it not only introduces them to it, but it enhances their education.

In Pre-K we sing a lot of songs, read a lot of books, and we dance, all the time. A smart board for our classroom would make my teaching come alive for my students. They would be able to see stories come to life on screen, and virtual field trips would be top tier.

My kiddos have never gone on a field trip, so if I can take them virtually with this amazing smart board, I want to do it. The screen is big enough that they'd all be able to see, and get a good view. I would also be able to teach them letters, numbers, shapes, all of which they can touch themselves and trace on screen. Please help us get this smart board and stand funded. My smart cookies deserve a smart board.
