My Students

In the STEAM lab, students learn that science, tech, engineering and mathematics can be creative, exciting, and fun. We have a positive classroom environment that embraces 21st century learning.

My students are incredibly diverse, coming from families that speak languages from all around the world.

My school is a place where these learners, who often struggle, are embraced and supported with a positive learning environment. Project-based learning, personalized learning, and multi modal instruction make sure that every student has an opportunity to learn something exciting.

My Project

My students thrive when their hard work and accomplishments are recognized. In addition, my students often lack access to basic school supplies. The resources in this project will incentivize my students with rewards that are also useful: fun school supplies, puzzles, and snacks. I want to create a a positive culture around learning that embraces and rewards hard work and perseverance.

Students will be invited to pick one of these helpful yet fun rewards when they exemplify habits of success within the classroom.

Students can pick from fun erasers, high-quality pencils and sharpeners, a healthy mini Larabar, and will get stickers to put on our classroom incentive chart.
