Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are kind, respectful, and responsible students. As they come into third grade, they have to learn to wait patiently until lunch time, which can be a little difficult. Lack of food causes students to get irritated, sleepy, and sometimes a little aggressive. Let's prevent that!

My students are in need of snacks to help them stay focused and energized until lunch time.

They go three hours in between lunch and breakfast, in which sometimes, some students won't eat breakfast due to different reasons. Snacks will provide them with energy and students won't have to worry about not being able to bring their own snacks from home, which some are not able to. Snacks would make students feel successful in their own learning. It will give them confidence to come to school, a place where they know they don't have to go hungry.
