Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day in the classroom consist of 28 kindergartners who are English Language Learners that love to explore, learn and play. We are not only learning about world but we are learning the new language our teacher is speaking in! How fascinating!

My school is majority Hispanic and Asian descent.

We are committed community who not only looks out for our own children but those of our neighbors! We are in a high need area but we make sure to have high parent involvement to make sure our children succeed !

My Project

The resources I'm requesting will teach my students how to be look after their belongings and make sure they are appropriately placing their belongings in their assigned book bins. Our pocket charts will help us with reading and writing. We can also organize our daily flow of the day that helps us know what is coming next on our pocket charts ! Students will use and take their notebooks, papers, and any other item from their book bin during the day. They will use their caddies to store craft like materials such as glue sticks, pens, markers, and paper. The caddies will be used to organize materials during small group instruction and activities. We will use chart paper to write down classroom rules, when we learn something new we can chart it on our chart paper, we can also look at the visuals that were drawn on the chart paper to help us remember what certain words mean.

The donations will help our classroom's flow, students ability to be independent and our classroom management.

It will also help with student behavior and our accountability for our own belongings!
