Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we all know, all students are capable of achieving greatness. It is my belief that, regardless of ability level, a student can rise up to the challenge and meet their mathematic goals. However, not all students start at the same line, and it is important to differentiate my instruction to ensure my teaching is a rising tide that lifts all boats.
My students are constantly working in small groups to either expand or close achievement gaps.
We use multiple parts of our room and would benefit from a whiteboard in a different area so that small groups can focus on parallel instruction. We will also be able to print differentiated worksheets so that students can complete work related to parallel instruction to what other students are covering.
