My Project

This year, I will have the honor of teaching 27 bright minds, but the problem is my room isn't big enough. My goal for my room is to provide enough space for my students to be able to move around the classroom and provide inviting spaces for students to work in, especially during independent work time.

The stools will be used during small group learning and whole group instruction.

The stools are small enough to tuck under the kidney table or portable enough to add an extra seat at a table during center time. The bean bag will be used for creating a cozy corner and reading nook during independent reading. The construction paper storage will be used to organize tasks for small group instruction.

My student's seat sack and desk typically gets overloaded with classroom notebooks and workbooks. The storages cubes will have students keep their independent book baggies in a place where students can access them easily.

The rest of the materials, such as magnet tapes, borders, outlets and toothbrush holders will help build systems in the classroom where students can eventually work efficiently to foster a productive learning environment.
