Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a SPED EA and I have worked at the same school for 16 years. I work with wonderful people and AWESOME students. Every day I lead several small groups from Kindergarten to Second grade. As an EA I don't make much money but I tend to purchase items for my small groups every week.

I would like to give my students a change in learning environment and teach them how we can learn in different ways.

Not just by sitting at a desk. Many students have to be moving around or get up and down in order to focus and be a productive student.

I believe that changing up my classroom corner and making it warm and cozy will help them relax and not stress over what I will be teaching. Many students deal with anxiety and stress of everyday life and I would like them to come into my room and feel safe and calm.
