This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have reduced days during our school year and my students do not receive lunch until they are leaving for dismissal.
I would like to have "slunch" for my students when they forget a snack.
Slunch is a combination of snack and lunch. My students learn better and focus on tasks at hand when they are not hungry during the school day. Some students remember snacks, some grab leftover breakfast bars and cereals to eat. But I would like a variety of food items they can choose from if they have forgotten something.
