My Project

Hi! My name is Malya and I am the Occupational Therapist at Castle Bridge/PS. 513 in Washington Heights. Castle Bridge is a unique school that sees each student for their strengths and helps build them up to be the best people that they can be. Some of the ways we do this is by adapting or modifying the school environment to fit each child’s needs. Many students at Castle Bridge struggle with sensory sensitivities or difficulties that makes it very hard to sit in the classroom and participate to their full potential. These amazing products in this cart are all targeted at helping these students access the learning environment in a way they can understand and thrive in. I am so excited at the opportunity to use these sensory tools to support my students! Please help me make this a reality for them! I know they will be so appreciative!
