Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We want our 7th-grade lunch club to be a special space where students come together to share meals, culture, and stories. This year, we would love to celebrate the Lunar New Year with our students who are eager to learn more about Chinese traditions. To make this celebration meaningful, we are requesting resources such as books, snacks, and engaging activities like a LEGO set that represents Chinese culture. These items will provide a hands-on and immersive experience for our students, fostering appreciation and understanding of this important holiday.

These resources will create a unique and enriching celebration for our students.

The books will provide an educational foundation, the snacks will offer a cultural taste experience, and the LEGO and puzzle will encourage creativity and collaboration. Together, these items will spark curiosity and allow students to explore and appreciate Chinese culture in a meaningful way.
