Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are an elementary art class located in Oklahoma City. We love to create, we love to draw, we love to paint, we create fiber art projects, and we love clay! We also love to learn about Art History and artists throughout different cultures. We are creative and caring and our art is wonderful! Please support our classroom and color us happy. Your donation will support around six hundred students from pre-kindergarten through fourth grade.

My Project

Please consider donating to our Art Project on learning how to paint skin tones and learning about the diversity in color.

We will be creating Skin Tone Rainbows, "This lesson and the accompanying discussion page are intended to open a dialogue with students about diversity and exploring the many different skin tones that make up our world.

Students will focus on mixing a variety of skin tones using watercolor paint, while also using line and pattern to create a lively rainbow design." This is from Deep Space Sparkle, a lesson on creating a Skin Color Rainbow.
