Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students are very happy to come to school and engage in hands-on activities. They love to read and use computers and ipads. Most of the students follow directions and are very eager to learn. They use manipulative in all subject areas(math, reading/language arts, science, social studies). They participate in all school wide activities. They come to school excited to learn and participate in all classroom activities. They are a diverse group of students with different abilities. They follow daily routines and are good helpers in the classroom.

My Project

My students work on hands on activities and use a lot of manipulatives. They love school and enjoy working on the computer and iPads. The iPad will help enhance learning since they are using the Unique Learning System. They will also use the iPad in all subject areas like math, reading, social studies, personal health and vocational skills on a weekly basis. They have been taught to share and take turns. These skills will be reinforced throughout the school day.

The iPad will also be used to prepare them for the end of year assessments and monthly pre and post tests as well as benchmarks.
