This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These sketchbooks would allow students to explore, experiment, and practice creating art utilizing an art process. It is super important for our young artists to learn the art process which begins with sketches. It allows for our students to make mistakes, learn from their mistakes and discover their creativity. I'd create do nows for my students to complete in the beginning of class to spark their creativity. In addition, students would take ownership of their own sketchbook and bring it back and forth to and from school to draw at home and in class. My students love to draw but we can't afford to buy them sketchbooks! Please consider donating!
