This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I am requesting will allow my students to enhance their artistic skills and understanding of shading, depth, and texture. Sketch and wash pencils enable students to create both detailed sketches and washes of color using water. My project aims to have students learn shading skills while having blendable versatility. Students learn various drawing techniques such as hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, and blending. These techniques are fundamental to creating depth, contrast, and realism in artwork. My students are special because they engage in critical thinking within the context of art, analyzing their work and the work of others to understand artistic concepts, styles, and historical influences. This reflective practice deepens their understanding and appreciation of art.
