Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consists of both general education and special education students who are culturally diverse. We are a Title I school, where students are able to receive free lunch and breakfast.

Students in my school face many challenges and often see school as a fun and exciting place to be.

Making a classroom neat, organized, fun and inviting is essential in keeping students motivated. I want my students to be eager to learn when they walk into my classroom. Having new materials will hopefully encourage them to do their best this year, while making them feel special.

My Project

My students will love walking into a neat and bright classroom in September. Learning organizational skills while transitioning into a Middle School setting is vital for future success. Students just love receiving new materials. These donations will help motivate students to stay organized and focused on their learning.

Storage bins will be used for student groups, their belongings for specific activities, lessons and projects.

Each student will receive a Seat Sack to place their books in. This way, they do not have to carry books around all day and possibly lose them along the way. Students will learn organizational skills which will carry over into High School.
