Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
While my class has been training in softball skills for special Olympics (being hosted at our school), our sixth grade team have been preparing our sixth graders to volunteer as part of their community service hours. Sixth grade student will be assigned to a special education class to escort, enter scores and cheer for students during our Special Olympics events.
Inclusion is such a huge part of our school.
At the end of our event filled day I would like to have a lunch to reward our eagles for their hard work. A local realtor has donated pizza for our students and athletes but we need chips to make this a true celebration.
