Hello! I teach first grade in Brooklyn, NY. Our school serves a large immigrant population. It's important to me that the children have a wonderful school experience in first grade. I am seeking a class set of soft, colorful floor cushions. The children gather on the rug several times a day for lessons, class meetings, and read alouds. Sitting cross-legged on the rug can become a bit uncomfortable for them at times...I sometimes leave my "teacher chair" and join them, so I know how it can feel to sit on the floor for extended periods. By having the floor cushions on the rug, my students will be able to learn and be comfortable at the same time. Besides feeling comfy, I think the children will enjoy learning more because the floor cushions are attractive and fun to use. Better still, there is one for each of them! Thanks so much for caring!
