Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I really love that my Kindergarteners enjoy listening and viewing virtual Read-alouds. Also, I love that they really enjoy listening to me reading to them, the traditional way; as if we were in class for a whole group reading lesson. My class is an amazing group of kindergartners that love to predict and discuss what they have learned, from each text they had heard in our virtual setup. Also, they enjoy making anchor charts, writing, and drawing about the text that we have read in class. They would also discuss this with their classmates and enjoy doing so.

My Project

My students will be reading, learning, and engaging in lessons while sitting comfortably in their new and flexible furniture. Coming from a virtual teaching setting, I would like for students to be comfortable in a classroom where they can engage and be taught like they were being taught at home. The tables and chairs set can be used for stations and activities to help the students interact with one another safely. The cubed storage and the library storage will be used to place books and to teach students how to put things away properly.
