Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The kidney-shaped table I have selected will ensure that my speech students will be able to learn and interact collaboratively during their sessions. I provide therapy for students who have a diagnosis of Autism, Expressive and Receptive Language delays, Social and Pragmatic delays, and speech sound disorders. Every day I am learning from their strengths and weaknesses, and every day I feel more motivated to provide the best therapy for my students.

I currently have a small rectangular table that does not allow for students to sit comfortably in a group, or around me.

A kidney table will help me provide more individualized therapy and support, as I can be at the same table with them. This table will create an adequate learning space for my students to be more social, focused, and motivated during their time with me. Please donate to my project to help my students have a space to sit comfortably while working toward accomplishing their goals!
