Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I really love that my Kindergarteners enjoy listening and viewing virtual Read-alouds. Also, I love that they really enjoy listening to me reading to them, the traditional way; as if we were in class for a whole group reading lesson. My class is an amazing group of kindergartners that love to predict and discuss what they have learned, from each text they had heard in our virtual setup. Also, they enjoy making anchor charts, writing, and drawing about the text that we have read in class. They would also discuss this with their classmates and enjoy doing so.

My Project

These materials will be used in the classroom for the school year 2021-2022. I want my students to sit and relax on their ABC carpet to listen to read-aloud and other subjects. Also, other materials were included for their use as well. I want for them to learn and take care of an electric sharpener that they will benefit from; while being in class without missing out on a lesson. The cart added in the project is for me to store their class materials; such as pencils, glue sticks, crayons, scissors, journals, and many other practical materials. As kindergartners learn by routine and colors, I added the small caddy/storage in different colors to have them set up in each table that will be labeled with the same color as the caddy.
