My Students

Most kids love using computers, and my classes are no different! I see a range of students each day from grades K-5, and they all have one thing in common - they love to learn and play! Computer science, coding, programming... new fun concepts for our rural school. Many people think these ideas are extremely difficult, only for higher learning adults, and far too hard to teach to children!

Kids can master anything with the right attitude and resources.

My Project

When you think of a classroom, you might imagine a desk and a chair, maybe some pencils and paper. I want to change that vision in my own room.

Computer Science is a vital addition to the school curriculum.

One important aspect to understand about CS is that you can learn anywhere, anytime, in any setting. In a computer lab, you generally see a line of desks and desktops. I want to change that vision.

I am aiming for a classroom as varied as my students. Please help us get some fun seating and begin looking at CS in a new way!
