Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students from my school live in one of the poorest districts in the country, the Bronx, NY. Many of our students view coming to this public school as a way to escape their day to day struggles. We try our best to provide students with access to diverse, fun learning programs, but with major budget cuts, we can not afford certain supplies to keep us going. It has become increasingly difficult to offer character building education services to our large population of students. The guidance team is working on our college and career planning atmosphere for the students. We want to inspire them to start planning for their future

My Project

We are building a college and career planning office . We want to give our students a place to go and explore for their post secondary plans. All students deserve a positive space to call their own.

We want inspirational signs and activities for them.

Providing them a safe haven in the school building is important. I will be working with the senior class and I am excited to build a space for them as they complete high school and future planning goals.

Sit and feel inspired Class of 2021. Teach them to open up their minds and dream big!
