My Project

SISTAS Mentoring Program (Strong, Independent, Smart, Talented, Sisters) wants every girl to understand that they have the ability to be educated and powerful as well as build a sisterhood.

SISTAS Mentoring Program's mission is to assist young ladies with gaining impressive characteristics, accessing the power they hold within as well as maintaining their mental health.

SISTAS Mentoring Program is committed to empowering and transforming the lives of young ladies. Our vision is to create bonds, uplift and educate through our creative and customized program that tailors to key components that include but is not limited to: building self-love, overcoming identity crisis, overcoming the need for attention, identifying themselves in their sister, mental stability, adverse childhood experiences, and trauma.

Our program is an after-school mentoring program that will meet once a week. The plan is to give the young ladies a safe place to congregate during after school hours to do activities such as journaling, novel studies, art and jewelry projects, play board games, as well as have a light snack. We are also requesting some always needed for teenage girls, femine hygiene products.
