S.I.S. Gardening Club

My Project

We plan to create a school garden that will serve as a living classroom for students of all grades. This garden will include raised beds for vegetables and herbs, pollinator-friendly plants, and a composting area. Students will actively participate in every step, from planning and planting to harvesting and maintaining the garden. The project will integrate into the curriculum by providing hands-on lessons in science, math, health, and environmental studies.

Additionally, we will host workshops and family engagement events to extend the benefits of the garden to the broader school community.
