Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are eager learners who face a unique challenge at school—our new water fountain system requires them to bring their own water bottles. I want to ensure that every child has access to water throughout the day, so they stay hydrated and focused on learning. In addition, we do a lot of technology-based activities and assessments, and headphones are essential for students to engage fully without distractions.

Many students do not have their own headphones, and I want to make sure everyone has equal access to the tools they need to succeed.

Providing water bottles, headphones, and proper storage will ensure that my students have what they need to stay hydrated, focused, and ready to learn.

What makes my students special is their resilience and eagerness to grow, and having these essential items will empower them to focus on their education and thrive in a technology-rich environment. These resources will make a huge difference in their ability to stay on task, improve their learning experience, and feel confident during assessments.
