Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine the joy my students could experience with an entire town of dramatic play using one playstand. This simple switch stand has a variety of signs to switch to change the theme in dramatic play. Students can use this playstand to be a vet or doctor one day. Then they can manage a café, restaurant, bakery, or farmer's market stand the next. They can also pretend to deliver the mail and run a theater or carnival using this playstand! Students can easily change the theme by switching the stand's laminated posters and signs. The posters and signs attach to the top and bottom of the stand to quickly change the stand to a different store front theme. One playstand can provide endless opportunities for play in my kindergarten classroom!
