My Students

My students come from a very low-income/high needs environment. The school is a Title I school in Philadelphia where 100% of our students are eligible for free meals. Many of my students are performing well below grade level.

My students do not have access to resources and technology to help them fulfill their goals and reach for their dreams.

I believe all students have the right to learn and succeed. In order to make sure students have the ability to learn, they just need a safe environment and the resources to learn.

My Project

My middle school students come from families with limited resources. My classes a classes of mixed background knowledge and mixed abilities. For all students to learn, I print modified guided notes for all students. We also do hands on labs, and other interactive activities.

My students need binders, dividers, and pencils to be able to keep notes, labs, and other work organized.

My students learn best through hands on learning. I divide my class into various styles of teaching. Students rotate through different stations and complete work at each station.

Students also work on longer term research projects. Through the use of binders and dividers, they will be able to organize their work to help them locate their resources at all times.
