Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Nevada Charter school systems are a hidden gem in education. Our little learners are able to have small class sizes and greater one on one time with teachers. With these positives, the negatives have been the amount of funding for classroom supplies.

Being able to give my students alternative seating and a document camera to demonstrate assignments before independent learning allows my students to have a diverse learning environment.

The dry erase lamination pouches encourage students to learn from mistakes made and continue to practice with repetition.

Pencil pouches are a great way for my students to stay organized and learn a respect and ownership for school supplies. Our school only has 1 printer for all the grade levels. Being able to print resources for my students would enable them to have extra practice with writing and math.
