Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are genius beings ready to learn with curiosity and fervor. A majority of them are multilingual learners who are learning English for the first time and/or learning to improve their literacy skills in general.

Learning how to read and spell sight words can help children build the vocabulary they need to become fluent readers.

The goal is to support our student's overall reading skills. With these flashcards, I hope it will increase their recognition of these high-frequency words while having fun. The modeling compound will be used to enhance some of our literacy units with hands-on creative time.
