Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My super second graders are a diverse group of learners who often have numerous obstacles to overcome in order to get to school. This rug would be used to bring our class together for morning meetings and building our classroom community. We would also use this rug as a learning spot for math time.

Starting our day together builds trust in our learning environment, helping us forget that morning's obstacles and focus instead on being our best selves.
