My Project

I love how students at our school are growing in their independence and taking ownership of their reading lives. One way they demonstrate this is by learning to use the hold feature of our library to place requests for books! On my end, I can see which books are favorites among students by how many holds they get. However, the sad thing is when a student has to wait a month or more for a book they're so excited to read!

With this project, you'll provide our library with additional copies of our top requested books so students can get these books in their hands faster!

Having access to high-interest and exciting titles is a key part of helping to foster strong reading lives among students, so it is my hope to grow our library collection through this project and make sure students can get the books they can't wait to read without having to be on the holds list for weeks!
