This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
I am a first grade Elementary teacher in charge of 16 wonderful kids. They are very special as they come from inner city communities and just want to the best men and women they can be.
My students cannot all see the board when I am teaching and giving examples. I need an easel that can be move around the room for a better view. In addition, when I am doing small group instruction I have nothing to write on as the other boards can't be moved.
I need a dry erase easel to make learning more comfortable for my students. It will also make instruction easier for the low students. The dry erase easel will help to improve our small group instruction, reteaching and enrichment activities.
Your generosity will help alleviate a lot of frustrations now associated with classroom instruction. Students will be closer to the visuals used and examples presented. This will also help with classroom management as tasks can be posted on the main board for a particular group while the easel is being used to instruct another group.
