Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Kindergarten students use whiteboards multiple times throughout the day. Students will bring their whiteboard, marker and eraser to the carpet for most of our content lessons. Unfortunately, the ones we currently have are old, scratched up and never come clean.

My students LOVE to use their whiteboards in a variety of ways throughout our day.

Kids will often 'write' their answers as the teacher poses a question or problem for them to solve; sometimes working individually or in pairs.

We get to focus on basic skills such as letter, number formation, writing names, math equations, words and eventually sentences in a very quick manner. Being able to use magnetic letters will help the students practice manipulating and building words. The kids really enjoy free drawing using white boards as well. Please consider donating to our project and help us use less paper.
