My Project

Each day my students approach learning with an openness and enthusiasm that’s truly inspiring. They bring unique strengths to our classroom and benefit tremendously from hands-on, practical experiences that help them connect concepts to real-life applications. This project focuses on math and money skills, empowering students with the knowledge they need to navigate the world confidently. The specific resources requested—such as play money, budgeting games, and math manipulatives—will make a difference in their learning by providing tangible tools for practicing skills. Students will engage in activities like role-playing a grocery store visit, creating a budget, or calculating change, reinforcing essential concepts while building independence and self-confidence. These interactive resources bring math to life in a way that’s both engaging and accessible, helping my students make meaningful connections between classroom learning and everyday life.

My goal is to ensure every student leaves this class with foundational math and money management skills, a strong sense of self-reliance, and pride in what they’ve accomplished.

These young learners are special because they persevere in the face of challenges and show how capable they are with the right support. This project will make a lasting impact on their academic journey and life beyond the classroom.
