My Project

I have the amazing opportunity to co-lead Sources of Strength, a student leadership class. In this class, we partner with Sources of Strength to send their message with our students through a variety of campus initiatives and activities. Sources of Strength is a radically strength-based, upstream suicide prevention program with shown effectiveness in both preventative upstream and intervention outcomes. While we do have fundraisers in place to afford various needed resources, these items through Donors Choose will be a tremendous asset to our program and allow us to meet the basic needs of posters announcing various initiatives and activities our student leadership team will be creating throughout the coming school year. In turn, other resources will be freed up and allow us to obtain additional items we need while not consuming our entire budget.
