My Project

My Pre-K students are naturally curious and love exploring the world around them. I want to bring that curiosity into our library centers by adding Shine-a-Light books that turn reading into an exciting discovery experience.

These unique books allow children to shine a light behind the pages to reveal hidden pictures and surprises, allowing them to explore non-fiction topics in a fun way.

This interactive feature makes learning feel like a game and encourages young learners to ask questions, make observations, and stay engaged with books. For many of my students, hands-on experiences help build early literacy skills and a love of reading.
