Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hello! I teach Pre-K. All of my Pre-K students come from very low-income homes. Many of the parents are unable to provide their children with necessary supplies. My eager-to-learn students would greatly benefit from a variety of materials to further their learning, and keep them safe during these difficult times.

My students are caring, witty, and creative, and I want to continue enhancing these terrific attributes by providing them with the best resources.

Thank you!

My Project

All my students come from very low-income families, where the majority of the parents are struggling to get by. During these trying times, school is where my students most enjoy themselves. Due to the pandemic however, I am unable to provide them with interactive activities and field trips like before. Therefore, all the learning must occur within a classroom having many distancing restrictions, and limited resources. I would be VERY APPRECIATIVE if I received the free- standing shields, as I will be able to get closer to my students and play engaging learning games while keeping us safe. In addition, with the printer ink and classroom materials, my students can do much needed home learning on a weekly basis, and I would be able to print the work for my students, as extremely few parents have internet access and printers at home. THANK YOU!
