This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love using programs on the computer to help them learn and become better scholars. By giving them more chances to be on the computers and using tools that enhance their learning experience, they can be successful!

My school desperately lacks resources and is only able to provide a set of headphones for the school year, which many are now broken or missing parts.

As a middle school teacher in a growing community, I am striving to ensure that my classroom has all of the resources needed for continued success! Middle school is such a pivotal year for learning, and not having the necessary resources to enhance their learning poses a significant challenge in their development.

My Project

TMy students need a new set of headphones and privacy shields to be used individually during testing sessions and other hands-on activities that requires them. The purpose of each student having their own set of headphone is to educate students about essential values that we want them to instill in their daily practices. Having a set of headphones will enable the students to demonstrate accountability by making sure it is cleaned at the end of each week, as well as taking care of the equipment. In addition, with testing coming up soon, having headphones will also help with noise control in the classroom and facilitate tasks for students during testing sessions. The privacy shield would help to minimize distractions for students and help them remain focus during the lengthy testing sessions.
