The students I work with are in fourth and fifth grade. The students on my caseload have a wide range of skills and abilities. Each student receives individualized instruction in the resource room to help them meet their goals and objectives. I care for all of my students as if they were my own.
All students deserve the opportunity to be successful.
My Project
I am a special education teacher who is passionate about social emotional learning/social skills development. Enter these amazing books. We currently use the Zones of Regulation in our classroom and these books will be an amazing companion to that evidenced based curriculum.
These books are engaging, beautifully illustrated, and full of important life lessons/life skills that the students will carry with them into their future years of education.
My students are constantly learning social skills through evidence-based practices. They need daily social skills instruction in order to be successful in school and in their personal lives. The pandemic has negatively impacted the growth of their social and academic skills. I want to ensure my students have the skills and foundation to help them succeed in life.
