My Project
Currently, my students have to go into my closet for their toys, and inside the built-in shelving units to reach their items for independent reading time and recess. This takes precious moments away from them learning, reading, and playing.
The goal of this project is to provide an easy, safe, and accessible place for students to reach their books, toys, and STEM bins independently.
In addition, it will create independence in my students as they will be responsible for getting out and putting away their materials without my assistance (they need my assistance now to access the closet space and built-in shelving units).
