Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting five shelves for our new classroom library. We are moving into a new classroom that does not have shelving, from a room that had many shelves. We have many, many books and will need a way to store them next year so that they are accessible for the students. Our goal is to set up the shelves in a way that the book are on display, and we will also have a cozy reading nook for the students to enjoy. Independent reading is an important part of our ELA curriculum, and having a wide array of books for the students to choose from is very important.
