This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help us continue to build a diverse Spanish-English library for our emergent bilingual students. Our school's bilingual special education (BSE) program supports high-need English language learners through culturally and linguistically responsive instruction. These books also benefit our dual-language program students.
Our goal is to help our students fall in love with reading by offering a diverse selection of books to choose from.
These materials are needed for students to be able to sit in our class library and to house all of the amazing books that have been donated to us/bought in the last year.
