My Students

I work with a very dedicated, innovative, caring, and compassionate team of educators! My students are a unique team of caring and inquisitive learners. They have learned to believe in themselves through risk taking, a willingness to learn, and experiencing success and independence within the safe nurturing and supportive learning environment we created.

Every student in our class adds a unique and luminous touch to our group!

My students eagerly share their expertise with each other to help our class grow and expand their horizons. We celebrate a variety of cultures and know how important it is to support every student's individuality through acceptance; whether it aligns with our own interests or not.

"Ancora Umparo" is our motto as we are always learning! My students enjoy guiding their own inquiry, creating and solving puzzles, spreading kindness and appreciation throughout our school, and exploring their creativity! They impress me every day and make every day a new and exciting learning adventure for all of us!

My Project

My current electric sharpeners have sharpened their last pencils. Electric sharpeners allow us to rapidly sharpen both lead and colored pencils so that my students can spend their time invested in their learning tasks and experiences rather than sharpening their pencils. Electric sharpeners make our classroom life easier by giving my students more time to sharpen their skills and express themselves.

Our current sharpeners have served my students well, but after three years of heavy use, they have sharpened their last pencils.

My students would greatly benefit from new electric sharpeners. They take pride in manning them and making sure everyone has sharpened pencils to work with. Lately many of them have been doing their best with the manual sharpeners, but they tend to break the points easily in their fervor to achieve a well sharpened pencil.
