My Project

I work with English Language Learners in kindergarten through third grade. The students love to tell and write stories, but they also really love to add pictures to their stories.

With the help of supporters like you, I can give them journals that don't just have lines in them, but spaces for pictures too and the colors to match the diverse tones in people's skin.

I can also give them colored pencils to use when drawing or coloring about themselves, their friends, and family members. There are so many shades of color and I would like them to find ones that match their own tones without just asking for peach or brown.

Plus... the pencil sharpener will help keep their ideas going and flowing in their journals! They students and pencils will be sharp and colorful when they are writing and drawing in their new journals!
