My Project
Hi everyone! I am hoping to fund this project to get the JAWS Ambassadors a hat with an iron-on shark so they can wear them at lunch and recess to be easily identified for peer mediation purposes. We are an award winning PBIS school and JAWS stands for Just be nice, Act responsibly, Wise choices, and Safety first. Every homeroom has a JAWS Ambassador, which is a student who demonstrates our expectations and was voted on by their peers.
JAWS Ambassadors get trained to help their peers with problem solving and peer conflict resolution, and the hats will help their peers easily find them at lunch and recess when most issues arise.
The blue colored hats will match our school colors and they will be bright enough to stand out in the crowd. We will also iron on a shark to match our mascot and make it even more fun for the kids.
The JAWS Ambassadors are critical to our school culture as they help promote positivity and kindness. We want to make sure that they continue working hard to meet our expectations on the daily and strive to become a role model for their class.
