This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Biology classroom is one filled with a love of learning and a voracious appetite for hands on activities. This shark dissection combines learning about content from all units covered this year including: aquatic ecosystems, evolution, mitosis,meiosis, and food webs.

I feel that this shark dissection, aside from being educational, will form a keystone memory.

To date, we have only done two labs, and this would be our third. This dissection will reinforce their understanding of content they have learned as well and empower them to take ownership of their learning.
