My Project

Over the course of the school year, we have seen so many students that are truly hungry. When we sit at the lunch table, many students engulf their food and are still hungry at the end of lunch.

I would like to buy snacks so that my students have a snack to eat at lunch so they are full, but they are also able to share with a friend who is hungry.

I want to teach compassion. Sometimes comes in the form of meeting basic needs. This seems like a small gesture, but it is something that could make a difference in the lives of the giver and the receiver. I teach my students that it is better to give them to receive and when you give that it returns back to you. Please help me make this a reality as well as an option for teaching compassion through basic snacks. My students are special for many reasons. One of them is simply because they were created as awesome human beings. Another reason they are special is because they are learning how to be kind to others.
